I'm in the same position as you...except the college situation... I have two jobs, hardly anytime for myself..and no extra money... I'm currently about 30lbs over weight but instead of buying chips and such when I go to the grocery store... I replace it with salad...and fruits...I go for jogs when I have the spare time...

Even a little extra physical activity can help you obtain your goal.

Just know and realize what you're eating. Alot of people watch calories that they eat and such..I don't. If you drink soda and don't want to give it up completely, replace it with diet...and even water. If you eat alot of junk foods, even taking out one junk meal a day and replacing it with a healthy batch of fruits and veggies can help..

All in all, my suggestion is if you want to obtain your goal, excersise more and change your diet to healthier foods like fruits and veggies

it cost NO $$ to go out and go for a walk/jog. and just be consious of what your eating.

see above.
closing the mouth when hunger strikes is huge. also drinking water, walking, biking, using stairs instead of elevators, parking in the furthest spot instead of closest, etc. spend your food money on smarter choices, not more expensive ones...good luck!
doesn't your college have a gym/athletic center for students that comes with your tuition???

Jogging is free.
Push ups are free.
Sit ups are free.
Jump rope is free (minus the cost of the rope :) ).

If you eat less food, technically it should cost you less money. Take the time to prepare your meals at home rather than buy pre-made ones. I prefer to cook a large batch of long-grain rice on the weekend, get some frozen vegetables (whatever you like), throw on some good spices, portion it all into separate Tupperware containers for my lunches during the work week, and put it in the freezer. Microwave when hungry, and enjoy a healthy low calorie meal.
This allows you to buy/eat better food and keep the cost low.

I lost 40 pounds in 5 months with no dieting by taking Tae Kwon Do. Most DoJangs (what they call their schools) offer introductory packages for a small amount of money. The one I attend had a six week trial which included the uniform for $50. If you diet a little bit too, your weight loss could be even more.
Note: I've always worked VERY hard at all the moves and look like I been dunked in a creek after the lessons I've sweated so much. It wasn't and still isn't easy, but the benefits are worth every groan. lol! Plus, it is teaching you some very valuable lessons in self-defense, which we as women all need to know. Good luck!
