Cant find the time to work out...?!

Question: I am 14 years old and am a little underweight.
I am a very unhealthy eater but i am somewhat active. I used to be more active until i had to start doing acedemics almost all the time. Anyway i need to get and eat better.
Im not one of those people who like workout 24/7 - in fact i dont at all. I have badminton from 4-6 each day and thats not really active. I have so much school work i dont have the time to work out.
I get about 4 hours of sleep as it is.

Please help

At age 14, your metabolism is one fast burning machine...you should take advantage of this.

Learn to prioritize and manage your time...write out a schedule for everything. Don't drive yourself crazy with school work all the time! Do some school work, then relax and maybe walk the dog or dance in your room with some loud music while cleaning your bedroom. Exercising destresses and has so many benefits - even 15-20 minutes a day will help.
Get some sleep! Your body is still growing. Trust me, you don't want to be a short kid by the time you're an adult. Only you have the power to get your life together...good luck :)

u first need to get some more sleep

Get off the computer!!!!!!!!!!

4 hours of sleep per day, welcome to the club.

and how is it you cant find the time to work out, yet you surf the net! just do some situps, they are great for you! push ups too!

It takes you 8 hours to do your homework? I doubt it.

If you're underweight you don't need to work out at all especially if you do badmiton.

You need to find a way to budget your time more effectively. I know I can spend 45 min to an hour wasting time. Instead, I work out.

sleep more ast off, and get out of badmitin...for the good lord's sake. Instead run, start out with a 1mile or half mile and slowly increase the distance you run/jog, I find that running with freinds or a dog increases your want to continue running

Don't stress. Stress is more harmful to your health than not exercising enough. You play badminton which gets you moving and in the fresh air; who cares that you don't spend hours in a gym. A gym is only one way to get fit. Maybe swap a few afternoon of badminton for swimming to get more cardio?

get a used road bike and bike everywhere, ull be in good shape and ull be independent in ur transpiration. i started biking when i was ur age, to piss off my mom

Sounds like myself. Try this, walk around the house insided of sitting down. Ask your mom to park farther away from the store or even on nice days walk around the block wile reading a book.
As for eatting start a little at a time. Eat a good breakfest, a snack before lunch, a smaller lunch, a small snack after school before a good dinner. Fewer breads and carbs in the monring are better and nothing white (Breads, pastas and such MIlk is alright)
after five PM other wise the body does not have time to prossess it before bed. Little starts like this will help you feel better and even might help with getting work done faster ^^

Go set your priorities and try to figure out what is more important in your life. No one can help you if you don't help yourself.

Rest is the most important otherwise you will be tired and will not be able to function mentally or physically. Break-up your exercise throughout the day say 5-10 mins each session, this can be brisk walking, climbing up & down stairs or skipping... try to aim for 3 sessions a day. As far as eating, go for fresh fruits, veges, protein (include snacks such as nuts & dried fruit). I know it can be tempting to eat junk food but limit this to the weekend. Good luck!
