5'7" 100lbs trying to gain weight...NEED HELP!!?!

Question: I'm 5'7" tall and fluctuate between 95 and 100lbs. I hate the way I look, I'm all skin and bones I just don't think I look healthy. My Dr agrees 100% and says I need to gain 10-15lbs at least and 20lbs if I can. I'm eating almost 3000 calories a day, excercising (pilates and yoga) 30 min 3 times a week. I'm not always eating "good" calories though, sometimes I'll eat junk food or dessert just because I know it has a ton of calories. I'm STILL not gaining weight and I've been doing this for 2 months! Dr says I'm perfectly healthy and there is no medical reason I can't gain weight. Any suggestions??

PS: I can't do a lot of those protein shakes you read about because I'm lactose intolerant and can't eat a lot of ice cream or milk

Eat lots of protein. Do some weight training in addition to your yoga and pilates. That will build muscle mass and add to your weight and help you fill out a little. You might want to look for some soy-based protein shakes.

Have you tried carbohydrates?, potatoes, rice, good sugars, don't rely completely on junk food though. Protein from red meats, broccoli.

Carbs eat Carbs and eat 3500 calories a day.
Make sure its healthy though not junk.
Protein shakes are good to gain weight too.

i'm not sure if they have lactose ingredients in it but try mass gainers at your local GNC store

Potatoes are a great mass builder, eating like 4 potatoes a day will definately help you gain mass

lots of protein dude, and get in shape while your at it.
take some multi-vitamins like "centrum" and eat big hearty meats.

i don't know if it is true or even healthy, but ifound the faster i eat the more i consume a meal. I think it is because the food doesnt reach my stomach yet and i almost trick my mind.

Wieght training. Yoga and pilates do not help you gain wieght, they help you gain definition. Also 3000 calories a day and you are not gaining wieght?!? Honestly you may need to go to a doctor that is a specialist becuase that is just not right.
