After a while, your body actually adjusts to the amount of water so you don't pee every 10 minutes.

Make sure you're counting watery soups, tea and other liquids in that 8 (8 ounce) glasses rule. If you're drinking 8 glasses and also have 2 cups of brothy soup and a glass of iced tea, you can figure you actually drank 12-13 cups

Also make sure your glass is actually only 8 ounces. Measure it! Most of my glasses are 12 and 16 ounce glasses.

deal with it and pee... trust me if you want to loose weight water def. helps.... it helps to clean out toxins in your body and it keeps you hydrated....

drink water...once you get used to drinking alot of water you wont' have to pee as much.

I think that thats a myth

Regardless if you are trying to lose weight or not, you should be drinking 8 glasses of water a day. Once you start drinking it more often, you'll start getting thirsty for it and you won't feel like peeing every 10 minutes.

If you increase your water intake, your body will get used to it after about a week. You won't be in the bathroom constantly as you fear.

U don't have to drink 8 glasses 2 to 3 is fine because i heard this on 60 minutes. Its a myth to drink 8 glasses every day.

drinking 8 glasses of water a day is a common myth.

You need to ingest 8 pints of water a day in order to stay properly hydrated. However what most diet magazines and stupid 12 y olds fail to tell you is that you get about half of this through the moisture in your food.

just drink what makes you feel fresh and nourished. headaches are usually a good sign that you arn't drinking enough water.

8 glasses of water a day is the recommendation reguardless of whether you are trying to lost weight or not. just drink a glass every 2 hours..you will not have to use the bathroom every 2 minutes. also if drinking water is the only thing you are doing to lose weight then i highly doubt your are seeing results if any at all. you need to start watching the foods you eat and adding cardio exercises to your daily routine

once your body adjusts to the increase in water intake you won't need to pee so much.. so suck it up. pee a lot for a few days and keep drinking the water. its easier to pee a lot then be fat

a german scientist recently released a study indicating you could burn 100 calories/day by drinking your daily requirement of water (at least 2L) in the form of ice water. drink the 2L, it's good for you and it won't make you pee every 10 min.

It's annoying, but you have to deal with it if you want the water to work.

Once you get use to drinking more water you will not have to run to the bathroom as often. You also need to consider what you are drinking along with the water. If you are drinking caffeinated drinks like coffee or soda this will make you pee more often then the water alone. Try switching to just water. You can even get those single packets of flavoring that you can add to the water to make it more enjoyable. Good Luck.

then you are in a constant state of dehydration. while your body may have adapted to being in this condition, its not a healthy condition to be in. water helps flush toxins out of your body which do a lot of damage to your insides when they are left sitting around for long periods of time. you can get water from eating fruits and vegetables, from tea and juice as well so as long as your drinking SOMETHING through out the day you're probably not too bad off. however the reason why water aids in weight loss is because it allows the kidneys to do their job on their own. when you are dehydrated, you're liver must chip in to help them rid the toxins from your system (in the form of urea which is pee concentrate). now, the liver can assist in many other bodily tasks but obviously you would die if the toxins were not flushed from your body. so instead of being able to use all its effort to mobilize fat for your body to burn, one of the livers primary function, its helping your kidneys instead. the less fat mobilized, the less weight you lose. this is especially important for poeple trying to lose on a few pounds...whether it be those last few or that they don't have that much weight to lose in the first place.

You want to drink lots of water, no myth! It helps with the digestive system. You are also supposed to eat smaller meals but eat more times a day to spike up your metabolism. So eat 6-7 meals a day instead of 3 or less, but those meals should be only 1/2 the size of a regular meal. And of course, very important, EXERCISE!! Water also helps with that. Science proves the way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume. Starving yourself is NOT the asnwer, it just screws up your body and you gain it back anyway. So, run or jog for 30 minute increments at least 3 times a week. You can't tell me you can't find the time for that. And the more you do it, the more you lose =O) Follow that "recipe" for 2 months, and you'll look and feel better, and have lost weight naturally and in a healthy manner. Just remember you have to stick to it!! At first, you might feel a little weird, and always be hungry, but just stick to it!! Oh yeah, and avoid any fast food, fried food, or anything else you know is bad for you, like soda. No soda, lots of water!

everyone bodies are different. some people need to drink more water than other. the best way to tell how much water you need is the color of your pee. if it look like water, than you're good. if it look like lemon juice, you're OK but more water would be better. if it look like Apple juice, you are dehydrated and need to drink more water, especially if you are working out.
as for losing weight, i don't really see how drinking a lot of water is helping. Drinking cold water use more energy than lukewarm water, but otherwise i don't see the point of it.

don't drink so much water that you have to pee every 10 minutes. by that time, your pee should be crystal clear.

water is the best thng for you.....you're just gunna hafta pee and get over it?

your not going to loose weight drinking water.
Now if your cutting soda and replacing it with water you may loose some weight. Exercise and good eatting are the best way to loose weight
