I joined a gym when i was 14, with my mom. I love it! If you live in Canada, go to goodlife fitness center, its the best. But if you don't just find a good gym that has everything you want!

Good luck!

I did...And it worked i don't see why it wouldn't work for you

U CAN JOIN D GYM.
BUT IF U LIFT MORE WAIT THEN IT CAN EFFECT UR HEIGHT.
SO, B CAREFULL............

some wont let u until u r 18, 16 if ur parents go there, but i go to fitzone for women, and i love it!, but im 20, so if there's one around where u live, check them out

I'm having a hard time taking a question seriously that uses the word "bestie"..

anyway.. it depends on the gym.. some gyms have an age requirement of at least 18.. they don't want kids getting hurt on the machines.. you'd have to check with your local gym to find out their policy on this.. also, your school probably has facilities you could use for free..

well u can join the gym for doing aerobics yoga swimming and etc but if u start weight lifting then it gonna affect on ur height coz ur height will stop increasing

yes you can join a gym. and if you start working out now and balance your diet it wouldn't be long before seeing positive results:)

You can, but don't you have something at your school that you could use? Joining a good gym is expensive, but you should be able to find a 24 hour fitness or Gold's gym in your area, and they are cheaper.

Some gyms yes, some no. Even if they let you join, don't do it without letting your parents review the contract. Don't sign anything. Just go for a tour. If they start to push for a signing right away, that's a warning sign. A lot of gyms try to lock you into contracts so that even if you stop going you --or your parents--will be stuck with the bill.

The reasons some gyms won't let you join unless you are of legal age is liability. At your age, some states won't hold you accountable for your contracts, others will.
