Sweatsuits mainly induce dehydration.
Salt substitutes are only for people who need low sodium diet. Instead they contain high levels of potassium, which are no better for a healthy person.

I'd go for lots of raw fruit & veg, lean meat, cut right down on dairy products, certainly no sweets or sugar. Your best bet is to get your metabolism running as fast as possible - naturally. So lots of fibre which your insides can 'grip' on to help push other foodstuffs through. Make sure you drink plenty of water - no diet drinks, fizzy drinks/sodas steer away from anything with added chemicals. No tea, no coffee, no fruit juice (contains high levels of fruit sugars) You need to keep your blood sugars as level as possible (it's this dropping that makes us crave 'naughty' foods), so don't have refined carbohydrates, that means no pasta, no white rice, no bread (even 'brown bread' is usually quite refined). Unrefined carbohydrates get metabolised by your body much more slowly, that means they are less likely to be completely absorbed, and also less likely to cause peaks in your blood sugar level.
Fat burning happens best at a relatively low level of cardio vascular exercise, whilst high levels of exercise burn calories more quickly, you can't keep them up for as long. Brisk walking, swimming, cycling are all great. You should be a little bit out of breath, but still able to carry on a conversation. Build exercise into what you would do anyway, walk to work or to the shops, go out dancing with friends, take the dog for a longer walk, go rollerblading or play tennis in the park - something which is enjoyable is something you are more likely to do!

I don't know whether that will shift the 20lbs in time for you, but it will certainly make you lose some weight, tone you up, and make you feel fantastic.

Try swimming.It helped me a lot.I lost a few pounds and toned up all over too.

salads with vinegar
eat nothing sweet
eat chicken
eat nothin white
walk 30 min every day
try raw veggies
the pounds will shed quick

Try Rollerskating, Eliptical Machine and just some good old sweating, a lot. You can buy what's called a sweat suit and sit in a sauna, you can lose a lot this way-fast.
