start a food journal and write down the meals you have had for the day in the evening. circle out the bad food and focus on the good food the next day. its an ongoing process, learning to eat healthy. occasional junk food is ok as long as it is not everyday!

the best way is to read about the New Healthy Eating Pyramid.
The well known "food pyramid" is full of misconceptions. They made it better, based on the past years of nutrition studies.
