Working out 2 times a day?!

Question: is it okay to work out two times a day? ... like once in the morning and then again at night? will you lose more weight or will it not make a difference?

It should be ok, as long as you're not doing weights twice a day.

Preferably do Cardio in the morning then do weight training in the afternoon, the theory behind this is that after a Cardio session you'll feel energized for the rest of the day, and once you hit the gym again in the afternoon, you'll be rested enough to hit the weights, then go home and rest.

From personal experience, I like to do cardio before weightlifting as a way of warming up the body.

Every now and a again, change it up for a week, and do Weights in the morning and cardio in the afternoons.

Depends...
If you're running or something similar, I'd say it's OK.
But if you were weightlifting that would be too much -- you need to let your body rest.

when working out you need to do it in sets when you weight lift etc... except running.

the more you work out the more you will become sore, do everything 15 times each set, take a small break then do another 15.

depends on how much you eat...or dont eat...if you are starving yourself you wont lose anything....loading up on protein and low carb vegges and 2cups popcorn for carb...have to make sure you get enough calories for your body though ....or it goes into starvation mode and holds on tight to the weight..

I lost 20lbs in 1 month went to the y in the morn and at night..did step class and in class power lifting (light weights)
and ab class

All the books now say that it will make no difference. It used to be that you had to do the treadmill (for example) for 22 minutes. Now, it's OK to break that up into 3 11-minute intervals. The rules are always changing!!

Bless you and good luck! :)
