Before you exercise, if you are doing cardio, your body needs some type of carbs in it - your body needs something to burn while working out. Basically, you should burn off the calories that you intake, but realistically any form of excersing will help. You sound like your doing a good job by buring around 500 calories - just remember, if you are trying to lose weight, muscle weighs more than fat. So do not necessarily expect results in numbers, but more in toning up and sliming down-wise.

please give a better or more concise description of what your asking please.

Do you want to know if you should subtract the calories burned during the training session in the morning from the total caloric intake for the day?

My next question is what type of training are you doing to expend the calories?

age, lifestyle, stress levels, nutrient intake. It all has to be taken into account, that is why people struggle. Give me some clarification and I will be more than happy to help you out.
