they usually say a healthy rate at which to lose weight is one or two pounds a week.. but one thing you have to keep in mind is that since you plan to concieve, you CANNOT build up any vitamin or nutrient deficiencies!!! take it slow, exercise as much as possible rather than cutting back on your food, and drink lots of milk and water.

well whatever you lose your going to be gaining it back eventually.

For safe and healthy weight loss, try not to exceed a rate of two pounds per week.

fast 1 day of the week and that will lose 4 pounds a day

Doctors recommend losing no more than 1-2 lbs a week for the loss to remain permanent. Let's say 1.5.

1.5 x roughly 25 weeks = 37ish lbs.

that seems a little unreasonable, dont'cha think? Let's make it about 25, because everyone does hit that weight loss plateau.

you're going to have to work off the fat after pregnancy anyways though. and you're probably going to gain anything you lose from now to conception once you're pregnant. I would simply try to live more healthily from now until then so the baby will have the best body to 'live" in until he/she is born! don't worry about the actual number on the scale until after that time.

everything

I lost 7 pounds in one day once back when I was a wrestler and I had to make weight for a dual meet. But that was all from wearing several layers of clothing on a hot summer day to force my body to sweat, and by spitting at any chance I could get, and not drinking any water or eating anything, and using the bathroom as much as possible. So it was all water weight, and it was all gained back the next time I ate/drank. So don't do that. Basically don't listen to a thing I just said.

If youn eat more, you wont

The Mediterranean diet (fruits, olive oil ...) is the healthiest to slim.

To measure your body fat and your ideal body weight you have to calculate your Body Mass Index.
