Anyone done both Curves and/or Weight Watchers?!

Question: How did it work out? Thanks!

Answers: How did it work out? Thanks!

I am currently doing weight watchers and it is fantastic! I've tried so many diets in the past, and I feel weight watchers is the best. (I have lost 15kg since New Years and that just Weight Watchers and exercise)
Why is it the best? Because other diets you have to either cut out Carbs.... or measure every bite you take.... or time each feed.... or it will cost a fortune. But with Weight Watchers you can still eat the same foods that you enjoy everyday, but in moderation. (e.g. I still eat bread at lunch time and have dessert if I desire) It's affordable and you get to meet other people at the meetings each week, which help for motivation and ideas.... There's nothing bad to say about it.... It's worth a shot!!!!

yes, fatter than ever

Weight Watchers is a very valuable tool if you follow it. I am currently on it for two months and have lost 8 lbs. I use the points system. Curves is so awesome. You get a trainer in the beginning and you only work out for 30 minutes but I have found I have to do it at least 5 days a week.

I have not done them both at the same time. I work out at home or at the YMCA because it's cheaper.

Good luck.

They are both fabulous programs. WW really does work but after a few months, it gets a little boring. It's hard but it works. Get creative with recipes. That will help. Curves is OK....it's good for anyone over 50. It gets a little boring going around the circuit. I prefer a large gym. Curves is always small. Good luck. OH...the saratonin diet is interesting. Check it out. Similiar to WW.

i loved weight watches. When I started I weighed 269 pounds (size 20 )... I only did it for like 3 months and just learned how to eat or whatever, and now I weigh 184 (size 12) I guess what one thing works for one might not work for another, but they just gave the the support i needed...

also when I started i was only 18 years old. Im 21 now, but it wasnt like an "old fat peoples" thing. Its really nice.

my friend did cruves and she loved it because they had special machines that worked WOMENS body parts where you needed it the most. my mom did weight watchers and she thinks its the only thing that would have ever worked. she lost so much weight and looks good now. she is 43 and she weights 120 and she doesnt even exercise and its all because if weight watchers. my teacher is on it now.. she been on it for a couple weeks and she lost 11 pounds. she i would try it!

I will tell you this. DO not fall into that over priced hoopla. If you seriously watch what you eat, calorie wise, you will lose weight. Drink mostly water and if you can, aerobics is the best way. Also remember to keep doing exercising whether it be walking, jogging, or running, keep it up for at least 20-30 minutes. For anything to be effective, you must get your heart rate up and keep it there for 20 Minutes +. I never had to try anything luckily because well I'm 5' 11" and 180 pounds but I do know about healthy living. Best of luck and you or whomever this question is for, has my best wishes.

Weight watchers is fantastic - because it's not a diet. It teaches you to eat properly and make sensible food choices - you can eat anything - nothing is forbidden.

I lost 4 stone (56lbs) in 5 months, going to classes and taking regular exercise, and i feel fantastic!
