A serious queston about the low carb diet?!

Question: Hey everyone, okay, I am 5'9 and 125 pounds, so on the low carb diet, how long would it take me to lose ten pounds? And please no one say "you don't need to" I really want to know how long it would take. Thank you all! =]]

I am seriously biting my tongue here! It would take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to lose 10 pounds on the low carb diet.

Go see your doctor. You are mentally ill.

Seriously, look up a bmi calculator.

At 5'9" and 125 pounds it will take a while since you don't have anything really to lose. At 115 pounds you will be bones and skin. If you try to diet at your weight/height proportion you will probably throw your body into starvation mode which will make it even harder for you to lose any weight...and what weight you do lose will actually be muscle.

Losing muscle will make it 100 times harder to lose weight in the future if you were to actually gain it.

Why don't you try to TONE instead of drop weight? If you are frustrated with your body, why not work on those body areas? That would probably be healthier than just trying to "lose" that weight.

I understand how hard it is to lose those last or first 10 lbs.

At your weight and height it may be too much to lose. But, the best and least expensive way to lose would be to

1)document all the food you eat (normally)and excersize for one week. Please dont change while you are documenting.

2)Analyze your behavior. Lets say you eat eat chips with your sandwich for lunch. Replace the chips with a side salad (low carb dressing) and go for whole wheat bread. If you are eating a big meal once a day have 4 - 6 really small meals throughout the day. This will increase your metabolism.

3) buy smaller clothes. you did it!

It will vary how fast you lose the 10 lbs. But this will get you on the right track.
