Can you lose weight by brisk walking 2 hours a day?!

Question: For someone who is 261 pounds and is 16 years old? My brother did it and lost tons of weight! He didnt diet or nothing.

Also what would give me better results, walking all at our or an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening? And maybe walk 30 minutes around noon? How long would it take to see results? I'd burn maybe about 700-800 calories a day right?

Also eating more vegetables and fruits and stop overeating. I already stopped overeating. I drink tons of water! and walk 80-95 minutes a day.Ive been doing this since the 18th of this month.

The basic rules are that in order to get into "fat burning" zone, you have to have done over 45ish minutes.

Basically your body first uses the sugar thats in your system, and after the sugar has run out, will go onto the fat. Remember that food you eat that is sugar, unless you use it, it will eventually turn into fat.

So either way, make sure your going for over an hour each time.

Dont burn yourself out! If your running short on time, go for 45 mins but include lots of hills.

If you stick to it and eliminate fatty foods AND sugary foods you will lose weight. Be careful of 99% fat free labels as often the sugar is increased to make it taste better... and sugar, if not used, will turn into fat

well i do that and so far i have lost a few pounds, plus i am starting to feel much better. keep up what you are doing. it doens't matter what time of day you exercise, as long as you are doing it!!!! good luck!!!

If you are able to walk for two hours straight at a brisk pace, than my friend, may God bless you !!
Two hours is an awful long time and together with your diet you will vanish in no time. Or more likely your spirits will. How long can you keep up such a vigorous work-out. The secret lies in continuation. If you watch your diet and work out moderately you will loose and keep it off for ever. Do not overdo it either way. I mean the eating nor the exercising.
Power to you my friend.
