Working out in the morning is better, but I'm not one to get up earlier than I need to. There is a benefit to working out later in the day... what else are you going to do? Sit around and watch TV? At least if you workout after school, you're avoiding the urge to sit down and do nothing. I know if I didn't go work out when I get off work, I'd just go home and watch TV or sit around doing nothing. So not only are you working out, but you're also using up time that you'd normally be just sitting around being unhealthy.

You'll want to get something in you pre workout so your body has some type of energy to burn, and it doesn't resort to using up muscle for energy. You also want to get a form of protein and carbs into your system within 45 minutes or so of working out.

I think the morning is best bcuz it jump start the metabolism which can last throughout the day

They say the morning is better, but I am unsure on what type of testing has been done on this theory. My theory is whatever time you like otherwise you won't do anything and any time is better than no time. You really shouldn't eat to much before you work out and not alot before bedtime.

It makes no difference what time of the day you work out.
Many people think its better in the morning, and i am one of them..mainly because i find that i cant sleep very well if i exercise in the evening, and also i have too much homework to do, so i find it hard to fit in during the evening.
If you do it in the morning, then its done, and you dont have to worry about fitting it in at some point during the day.
It is also better to eat after working out, as you burn cals faster after exercise, and if you eat before a workout, you may feel sick.

I think the fact that you work out consistently is more important than what time of day you choose to work out. If mornings don't work for you, the afternoon is just fine.

Some people think that doing a workout on an empty stomach will help them burn more fat, but what you're doing is asking your body to do a lot of activity with no fuel to get you through it.

My advice--about 30 minutes before your workout, have a small snack, with protein and carbohydrates. A small apple with a couple slices of lunch meat, half a whole wheat bagel with a little peanut butter...just enough to give your body a boost and help you get the most out of your workout.

Hope this helps--good luck!

either way wethere you eat then work out or work out and then eat it the same. Becasue you still gogin get and burn the same amount of carioles. It dosen't matter when you go to gym or whatever as long as you go that the important thing.

it is better for are person to not work there body to much at a time so if you want to work out an hour and 30min. try having it out like 45min. in the morning and 45min. in the afternoon. but if in the afternoon do not eat first. when you workout you get hungry so i would to avoided eating again is to eat after you workout! that will help you stay fit and fill good at the same time!

good luck!
