Can grapes make you gain weight?!


Question: Basically what i'm wondering is can grapes get you fat if you kinda snack on them all day. I love to have something to eat all the time, something like chips or little candies, but grapes are healthier and better for you.

So whenever i'm not busy, or am bored i've been eating grapes because they're fruit, light, and healthy. If i'm trying to lose some weight, is this bad?

technically, too much of anything is bad...so even if you ate 100 apples a day, that would be bad....and that is completely to the extreme, i know, but basically if you just have a couple of handfuls throughout the day, you should be fine.
you can try chewing sugarless gum to keep your mouth busy if you're just bored and want something to do....i think it even burns calories....like 5 per hour or something....haha not that that will do much..... :]

I'm sure they are very low in calories. You are fine.

People do not gain weight from what they eat. People gain weight by how much they eat.

What you eat relates to how much excersize you do and less excersize, more weight. Grapes are a healthier alternative and I love grapes but depending on how many you snack a day, I suggest a max of 1 1/2 cups of grapes. I use to have the problem of always wanting to snack and what I did was start chewing gum. It helped me mantain my weight

Put the grapes in the freezer. Once rock solid, snack on them. You will consume them slower and they are equally as tasty (and last longer in your mouth)

Althoug they are low in calories compared to chips or chocolate, they are higher in calories or carbs than vegetables. If you want to munch on something all day instead of grapes, go for bell pepper strips dipped in salsa or veggies dipped in salsa. This is really yummy and low cal + low carb.

Carbs store as fat and so if you eat too much carbs (aka grapes) you will store it as fat but at least you are eating fruit instead of crap like chips and cookies.

No. They're low in calories. Any fruit is very good for you, but it doesn't matter how much fruit and veggies you eat. You really need to exercise as well.

Your body needs to burn all the fat it has stored and exercise keeps you healthy in the longrun and prevents against diseases. Its so good for so many things. You cheat your body when you don't exercise.

If you eat a lot of grapes you will gain weight because of the sugar.

oh u must be young...asking about grapes making u fat!?...NO!...well technically ANYTHIG can make u fat...even carrots...but its impossible to eat that many calories!!! GRAPES ARE GREAT FOR WEIGHT LOSS! KEEP EATING THEM!!! I EAT LIKE A BAG A DAY
