How can someone have a six pack and a flag in their lower abs??!

Question: I was at this concert and one of the dancers had a six pack, but a flab in her lower abs,, just seems odd, is that normal? My upper abs are tight but my lower abs are kinda soft too but no not as bad as hers. How can i work on that??

When I was working with a trainer, we did leg lifts. Lie on your back, put your hands next to your hips and raise your legs off the floor about 6in and hold for at least 15-30sec. Also, used to do situps doing bicycles with the legs. Put you hands behind your head with elbows out, when you sit up bring your right elbow towards your left knee, then alternate. Keep your upper torso elevated so it is a fluid motion with your legs like a bicycle. DO NOT put your legs on the ground keep them elevated slightly above the floor. Elevating and holding your legs off the ground works your lower abs!
Also used to do the bicycle one on the end of a bench instead of the floor. Trying to balance yourself while doing them works your abs more. Balancing on your tailbone more or less is not easy while moving back and forth, took me a while to work on that one! Depends on how advanced your are.
Just thought of another one. Lay flat on your stomach, put your forearms on the floor about shoulder width apart. Then raise up on your forearms and toes, kinda like a push up but on your forearms instead of your hands. Hold this as long as you can. You will feel this in your back and your abs. Keep doing it and try to hold it longer and longer. It sounds easy but actually is pretty hard to hold.

Hope this helps, I remember these because they were the exercises I hated cause my abs would be killing me afterwards!
