How long does it take for the scale to reflect gained weight?!

Question: how long does it take for the scale to reflect gained weight? If I eat a bunch of food and step on the scale.... is that how much I now weigh? Or does it take a certain length of time for my body to assimilate newly accrued food?

Weigh yourself once a week in the morning upon waking up. That will solve your problem. Otherwise you are weighing the food you ate, etc.

You also need to be very consistant with your eating. Since you are trying to bulk up/gain weight, eat more carbs because that is where the majority of your calories will come from.

Im not certain how much your body will hold on to vs. dump out, but consistancy is what will get you there.

Take advantage of trying to put ON weight, so eat at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. Hope this helps.

LOL! The scale shows how much weight is on it. If you swallow a bunch of lead weights, the scale will show that weight. When you poop them out, then the scale will show what you weigh without those weights inside you.

Yes, it takes a while for the food you eat to be changed into actual fat and bone and hair and tooth and skin and muscle.

You weigh whatever you weigh, including the weight of the food in your stomach.

Since a scale measures how much weight is on it, the answer is.............................. immediately
