Question: i`m taking up aerobics. if i do it everyday for a month combined with eating no more than 1500 cal a day will i lose 20 pounds? (in a month of course)

You will lose weight and more importantly feel better and happier if you adopt a healthy and stress free approach to your eating and exercising. This does not involve target weight loss and diets. Do not resort to extremes, I have done that for the last 10 years and I am only now starting to achieve my goals after having let go and not guilt tripping myself anytime I missed a training session or a meal. good luck and remember that your body is what will carry you to the end of your life. Ask yourself if you want it to be a smooth ride or not?

Just eat less and move more. It's no secret. Only eat when your "truly hungry". Don't eat as a reward system. And say bye bye too junk food. If you do these simple things you will loose weight, i promise. And it won't kill you too skip a meal or cut your portions in half.

You will tone up the muscles you have, but sorry to say you will not lose the 20 pounds. You should aim at no more than a pound a week and be prepared for it not happening either.

We all hit plateaus with our weight loss plans and sit there for months on end still doing our food plan and exercise plan and getting discouraged. This is why most "diets" do not work and people quit them.

I do suggest going on a carb plan!!! Eating no more than 150 grams of carbohydrate per day is easier and better for you.

A salad dark green leafy with tomatoes, real dressing and maybe a few other goodies on it, and a chicken thigh weighs in at 35 grams of carb, so does a candy bar!! A mound of potatoes with gravy weighs in at 100 grams of carb.

Get a little carb counting book at the grocery store. they are cheep!!! they are also meant to be carried in pocket or purse!!

Walk as fast as you can as far as you can for an hour every day!! Yes, it seems too simple, but it works wonders! Builds strength in lungs and legs, works off the carb generated fat pockets, and makes you feel wonderful. You will build distance with the days! Running or jogging damages knees and ankles, so keep it to a very fast walk.
