Best way to lose weight in 2 months?!


Question: Ok lets be realistic. I have a toddler following my shadow or he is hanging on my leg. I have about 30mins - 2 hours alone when its his nap time. I want to lose weight (about 20 pounds or more) by April 25th. HELP?

I know exercise and diet (I take in about 1200 calories a day is that to much?) my son and I walk for about 40 minutes everyday (I push him in his little push car). but is there something to boost my metabolism or help me lose more weight faster?

I only lost 6 pds so far and I have been on a diet for a month.

You gain it back because you haven't lost the fat. That's why dieting does not work by itself. You have to exercise.

If you want to lose weight, you have to do cardio. Walking is good but if you're walking at a slow pace (since you're pushing is little car) you will not keep losing weight.

To burn fat, you have to increase your heart rate to its Target Heart Rate. Go here to calculate.

That means before walking, check your heart rate. After you walk check your heart rate. If your heart rate increased about 50% you are starting to burn fat. The more intense your workout, the more fat you burn.

That means the best cardio for you (since you have a deadline) is running. If you run 10 minutes a day, you will continually lose weight with the diet you are on.

you could buy some ankle weights for your walks. But other than that you are losing the weight at a good rate.

Have you tried spreading your meals out during the day. If you eat 5 small meals versus 3 large meals per day, this will boost your metabolism and keep it at its peak throughout the day. Thus, burning fat faster.
