Ugh... Why do I feel like this?!


Question: So.. bascially I feel fat.. and I exercise every day for two hrs... I'm a female (age 16) and 5'8", weigh 135 lbs and I'm trying to get between 115-120... my friends all tell me that i'm stick thin, but I don't belive them... At times I feel happy with who I am, but then I have momments where I'd rather starve myself and not eat... what can I do to help myself feel better about myself? am I even considered skinny...?

You may have "Body Dysmorphic Disease" Or the start of Anorexia. You are headed for trouble if you don't start getting professional help. Start with your family Physician and tell him/her exactly how you feel! Please I am the voice of experience. At 5 foot 4 and 92 pounds I saw myself as fat. If you don't get help you will struggle with weight issues all your life.

You are thin, do not lose weight. Eat healthy and keep up with the exercise. Don't worry much about what others think. I'm sure you look great!

You are thin,trust me hunny,Im 5'7 and I weigh that!

in my opinion to skinny is just as bad as being fat. but if your really worried about it,just tone up a little(weight train) I go to the gym regularly and some of the sexiest women actually do more weight training than cardio. weight training gives you a shape,cardio burns the fat to make your shape more visible. but your a good size

you're not skinny.

compared to all the other people who are fat, maybe you seem skinny, but you are far from skinny.
