Will i be toner before the summer, please help?!

Question: Will i be toner for the summer? I'm 15, 145 pounds & 5'6.

i just started to hit the gym with my sister, and i do carido for an hour (two different machines)
I go to yoga class once a week at the gym. And i try to walk home from school(35 minute walk, with a big hill to go up on)

I trying to eat healthy also, i really really want to look 'toner and tighter' so i can wear a binkini and not feel really fat around everyone.

Do you think i will make it? Will i look good?

Thanks so much! xox

You bet you can- and long past the summer too if you do it right. Remember: Healthy! There is a right and wrong way to lose weight- fad diets, binging, bulimia and anorexia are not it.

About 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy weight loss. Although, you're a teenager, your body is still changing and growing, so that could very well be different for you.

You should definitely talk to your doctor, ask your parents to make an appointment, or visit with your school nurse. They can help you find a program that is just right for you- and what a healthy target weight should be.

See the links below for some popular healthy-eating and exercise programs that are appropriate for teens.

you will look great you are doing the right thing you should be alott more toned

it depends on how much you have to lose but you'll definitely be more fit so long as you don't overeat

You will definitely see results by the summer. It usually takes 6 weeks for you to notice yourself.
The healthy eating is going to be important. And you may want to ad some light weights to your routine if you want to make sure you are tighter.
It doesn't sound like you have to lose much weight so focus on cardio that will help build muscle, like the hill walking, and stair stepper

yes!

Remember, diet and exercise are important to try to keep kind of constant. If you aren't getting the results you want as fast as you want, don't give up, but don't drastically change anything (crash diet/exercise plans). Doing those type of short-term plans puts a huge strain on your body, and sometimes you won't like what it does (for example: putting on more weight than you had lost).

So, basically, what I'm saying is, keep up the good work!
Good luck!
