What are some good, effective, drug free ways to maintain a good level of energy!

Question: Exercise. Believe it or not, it will enegize you. When I start to feel tired, I go straight to the gym and feel so much better after.
Make sure you are getting proper nutrients. A multivitamin will improve your energy level esp. if you are not getting what your body needs through foods.
Watch your Carbs. If you are not working out often, and are getting a lot of carbs, they can actually make you tired and put on weight. The best times to eat carbs are not too long before you workout and as soon as you can after you workout.
Try getting 15-20 minutes of Vitamin D a day, (SUN). This is the recommended amount of time for your body to not feel sluggish and is safe enough not to worry about getting skin cancer, but make sure you still use an SPF 15 at minimun.

Last, but not least, try and move more. If you work behind a desk all day, try getting up and walking around to talk to your coworkers, instead of e-mailing them. The more you move the more energy you will gain.

I hope this helps you!
P.S. Try getting a good nights rest, even if it means going to bed early. You will be suprised at how your body feels with proper rest.

Exercise.
Healthy-diet.
Stay hydrated.
Meditate.
Get regular massage.
Give yourself a facial.
Give yourself a foot bath.
Go jogging. At first it might make you tired, if you aren't used to it, but as your body adjusts, you will have boundless energy.

get plenty of sleep, vitamins, positive attitude, coffee (that is not a drug to me).

exercise
get enough sleep
drink water
stay away from alcohol, smoking or drugs
yoga for stress and flexibity
and positive "self talk" i.e. if you say, I'm tired - you WILL be tired.

JUICING. If you juice fresh vegetables it will give you the energy you are looking for. I took my juicer to a workplace where they had terminal patients and went into their kitchen and juiced a vegetable drink, enough for the staff of ten workers. They told me that they had so much energy from the vegetable drink that they could work hours past their shift. They also used it for their patients. So if you want energy with nutritional benefits, go and purchase a juicer for yourself. It comes with a recipe book on how to make nutritional drinks. I have a Jack La Lane brand. You'll have energy to burn.

eat properly and healthy.... exersise gives you a lot of energery too, bananas are great energy foods so are seeds and nuts

Bring snacks like carrots and other veggies to work or school.

What is really important is that you are eating right. You need a good combination of lean protiens and carbs which is like Chicken, fish, turkey, some pork or soy products. Portions are extrememly important. I try and eat 5-6 meals a day all around 250-300 calories each. This gives me a ton of energy throughout the day and I have been dropping weight. The carbs would be Veggies which are the best or any whole grain which includes Brown rice, oatmeal, whole grain bread. Try and stay away from anything hydrogenated and anything with corn syrup. Both are processed and make it harder to lose weight and they drag you down. Good luck to you!!! :)

Your body runs on 'fuel'. The better the fuel, the better you feel.
