Skipping meals to lose weight??!


Question: Okayy so ppl say that when trying to lose weight you shouldnt skip meals. This is either because you r not eating enough calories and your body goes into starvation mode or you end up overeating later and gain weight.
well what if you skipped meals but still ate enough calories everyday to stay healthy and lose weight??

you have to be good at it, a lot of people will skip lunch or w,e but then they will just eat more at dinner time! is ee nothing wrong with it but thats just me! whatever makes you happy hun!

well they're right... you shouldn't skip meals... your metabolism will go down and then you cant digest your meals properly

look never skip meals have small snacks like carats or salads if you are realy hungry between meals just have a chip or 2 and eat frutes and veggys

if you don't eat something for approx. 3-4 hours, your body goes into starvation mode, which shuts down your metabolism. so it is better to eat the same amount of calories spread out ever few hours than eating them in three big chunks. this will keep your metabolism going all day which will help you lose weight.

You should eat breakfast, it's important. Lunch is good too. Dinner.. eh.. This is the one you should skip out on the most. Either way, just don't skip! If you eat healthy and proportional, you'll be good.

so then whats the point of skipping meals if your gonna have the same amount of calories anyway?

don't skip meals. eat 4-5 small, healthy meals a day..exercise is a must

no.. i tried skiping for wrestling it doesn't work. it causes you to get weak and tired because food in volts produces about 3,000 volts of energy you need... when you don't eat it causes your metabolism to go down which can make you hungy..

starving urself will make u look very unhealthy
u'll look boney and ur hair will start falling out
ick!
just try to cut down on sweets and fatty foods
eat a lot of protein to build bone strength
also by becoming vegetarian u lose tons of extra lbs.
also u'll be less likely to get heart disease
but make sure u substitute that meat with lots of protein or u will end up looking boney
