sure...there are a lot of workouts that are pretty much just dancing. belly-dancing is a very good for toning your stomach and relaxing your muscles. but if you mean just the occasional dancing at parties or clubs then no it wont work. surch up dance workouts and im sure you'll find something! i agree with you though...i would rather dance anytime then do cardio.
I believe that it's possible. It's a part of exercise too.

um yes you can..it counts because on my p.e slip that i have to fill out to say what kind of pe i did it shows me some stuff i can do and dancing is one of them...so yeah it counts
