NEED help: How to gradually eat more and maintain?!


Question: Okay, I have come to the conclusion I am eating too little and I want to maintain my weight, not lose any more. How do I slowly eat more, while keeping my weight at the level it is. My metabolism might have slowed down a bit already.

Raise your calorie intake slowly, 100 calories a week.
This will raise your metabolism.

I need more info like your age, what you were eating before. Why do you feel like your metabolism has slowed down? Are you currenly exerciseing

its tough but you need to realise that you might have to gain up to a lb for your body to adapt to your new matainance calorie level that is if your metab has slowed down alot. find it with this calculator at www.freedieting.com just ease into it gradually by adding 200 calories each week until your at that level. your body should adapt within a week or 2 and youll find that your weight is much maintainable. hope this helps. (the trick to not gaining fat back is to do it slow )

you don't necessariIy have to eat more but eat things with a higher caIorie content...nuts have a high caIorie content...maybe smaIIer more frequent meaIs even!

few tips

1) divide ur food to 6 small meals
2) drink water at least 3 ltr a day
3) do daily exercises. at least run 30 mnts on tread mill
4) avoid junk food eat it occasionally
5) avoid any type of soda
