Worried...?!

Question: Okay, I have not been eating as much as a should have. (Cereal for breakfast, yogurt for lunch, and sandwhich or soup for dinner).

Now I need to eat more, but I don't want to gain much more weight. I am thinking about adding 100 calories every week untill I eat at a normal amount.

I plan to eat an apple or banana after school for this week. Next week, I will also add baby carrots for lunch (with my yogurt). Ect.

So, by adding 100 more calories a day for a week, should I not gain that much more weigh? I relise I will have to gain some weight, but no more than five pounds, right?

Nah, you shouldn't have to worry about gaining any weight if you do it that way. You should be more than fine... and a lot healthier. Best of luck to you!

i dont see why you would gain weight as long as you live an active life style...eating healthier is only going to give you more energy and benefit your body.

seriously conslult a nutritionist. but as one increases thier calorie intake they should increase the amount of calories they burn so more excercise would help you burn more calories however, it doesn't sound like your eating enough right now anyway. A few pounds probably can't hurt.

no offence but were u anorexic?! trust me...100 calories wont make u gain ANYTHING!...try adding more...and dont add baby carrots...they have no calories...for a veggie, add corn or potatoes... how much do u weigh...u probably need to gain more like 10 pounds... here are sum healthy foods that wil add sum weight and muscle but are very healthy...

-Lean meats
-complex carbs(oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread/pasta)
-peanut butter or other nuts
-"proto pure" protein bars....each has 300 calories and 32 g protein but are low fat(7-8g), ok carb(around 26), very low sugar(1g), very healthy and delicious...i like the chewy chocolate chip and chocolate deluxe..or the regular "pure" protein bars but they are smaller and only have around 180-200 calories and 20 grams of protein
-loose granola
-dried fruit(especially raisins)-instead of fresh fruit
-muesli
-potatoes and corn instead of greens
-drink BOOST PLUS and ensure plus(the chocolate is the best) they have 350-360 calories each and have alot of vitamins, healthy fats, and the carbs u need...look them up...there is a difference between the regular and the plus...
-milk/other dairy products
-beans/seeds

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product (I only wanted something 100% natural). I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great detoxification colon cleanse and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at
http://be-thin.us , they give you a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.
