first, not a stupid question...i think its interesting! unfortuanatly for us...everything but air (and mabey water) has calories

Metal and paper no. Wood and grass yes.

Calories are units representing energy, which comes from organic substances.

Paper does to have calories!

probably a low amount of calories, but it could be harmful to your health (especially metal & wood!)

If it can be metabolized, it can have calories.

Anyone have any colorie information on grass? i had 6 ounces yesterday......

Since calories are the measurement of energy I would imagine if your body could decompose foreign particles - they could have calories in the sense of consumed calories.

But I could be completely wrong.

wow. interesting!
you can actually eat grass, just as veggies. some of veggies we eat are grass. the problem is, do you like it? and is it poisonous? so does wood. they're fiber which cleanse our digestion system. our digestion system doesn't have cellulose enzyme to break down grass and wood. as the veggies, though. zero calorie.
but you take bigger part in contributing to global warming since you eat WOOD!
metal...err...chloric acid cause em to rust inside, but not digested. that's not good. but so zero calorie also!

everything has calories! some things just have a really small amount, but everything does. a calorie is just a unit of measurement that is used to measure the amount of energy an object has.

that's fuuny i would have to say yes so if ur planning to do that to lose weight i suggest not

ummm..yes, almost everything you can chew has calories...i think

even rocks...or maybe not lol
