At what bmi would you die of starvation?!
Question: Okay, first things first:
1. *I am in no way planning to starve myself, or go bellow the normal bmi!*
2. I know bmi is not always the best measure of fat percentage
NOW on to the question. I was wondering because I read 'Into the Wild' and the boy, Chris, was (around) 5'6-5'8 and 67 pounds when they found him. I did his bmi online and it was about 10. Is that the 'average' bmi you would die at, or even higher depending on your body's make up?

I never really thought about what BMI you would die at. I guess it would have to vary from person to person. (Which is a boring and uninteresting answer, I know.) But I'm pretty sure that some people would die if they were at 10 on the BMI scale. It is extremely low!
