What are the effects of massively overeating for one day?!

Question: Hi all,

A friend and myself were debating what the effects would be for some who had a normal, healthy diet, who then for one day, massively overate on sweeps and chocolates (5000+ calories), and then returned back to a normal, healthy diet.

Surely there is a limit to how much your body can process and store as fat, so I'm guessing a lot of it would pass as waste.

What do you think the effects would be on weight, body fat, etc?

for only one day, I don't think it'll make much of a difference for this person. He or she may feel sick that day because the body isn't used to such a big consumption of sugars/calories, but it shouldn't have any longer-lasting effects on fat, weight and all of that.

More you eat the more you sit on the toilet seat.

nothing really you may gain a pound or two but nothing serious

they`ll be shitting chocolate bricks for a week

You will have a lots of trip going to the washroom and maybe throw up a lot

You would definately have an enormous poop the next day, but you are not going to gain weight or body fat after a one day binge.

may feel a little sick but no lasting affects

You say massively overeating, if you were to eat 5000 then you would be having roughly 2500 over your daily intake requirement that equates to less than 3/4lb in body weight, wow, granted if you continued to do this for a year that would be around 260lb WOW!!

Nothing bad at all would happen really, Your metabolism would hit sky high because it would be wondering why your taking in so much fat/sugar etc so it would be working hard to digest all these fats, I know someone who has a strict diet and exercise regime throughout the week (5 days a week) Then once the weekend comes they pig out on absoloutely anything and everything, They told me they must consume about 25,000 calories on the weekend, I'd say personally that's a bit too much, And is binging, a lot in fact, I like to have a treat the weekend, Nothing major, just like a chocolate bar, but even sometimes in the week I have one, I just make sure I exercise it off! =D
