Do combinations of exercises, using free weights and machines. When using free weights, alternate between dumbbells and barbells. Make sure you workout every muscle group, as a lot of people avoid legs. Compound exercises are the best for mass, increasing testosterone, and overall power, such as: bench press, squat, deadlift, military press, etc.

After you lift weights, do 15-30 minutes of cardio to get the heart rate up and it's extra effective after lifting because your glycogen levels are depleted. Cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is also good to burn fat.

As far as foods, veggies, fruit, whole grains, protein sources such as: tuna, chicken, turkey, steak, etc. Avoid refined carbohydrates.
