Is there any way to lose just belly fat without shrinking the hips and thighs?!

Question: When I was very skinny I was straight up and down from the waist down because I had a broad waist. When I finally gained some weight on my hips and thighs, I finally looked more feminine like I wanted. Over the years I have gained some weight on my center or belly area, I guess the weight started going the wrong place because of the stress hormone that sends the fat to the belly instead of the hips. I would really like to lose the belly fat without shrinking my hips and thighs hardly at all. The only advice I find is stuff like aerobic exercise that burn fat from all over, and once that starts I'll just end up losing the curves I wanted so bad to start with. Has anyone found a way to lose just central/belly fat without sacrificing the feminine curves? Thanks in advance!

Usually we take off weight in the same way we put it on, so if you have added belly fat last, you will likely begin to lose that first with an increase in exercise. I just did moderate walking, not more than 4 mph on a treadmill, and in 3 months I had lost inches off my stomach. I won't say "only" but I can say "mostly". I also combined that with Nautilus. I think I may have put muscle on my shoulders and arms and toned my chest, as well as developed the muscles in my butt and thighs and calves. Maybe if you do slow-burning walking combined with Nautilus you will have good results. I am definitely not a gym-rat, and I was amazed at what a little effort over a rather moderate amount of time did for me. I think maybe slow and easy is best. Hope that helps.

Personally,
If you simply wanna lose your so called "belly fat" without shrinking any other body part, I say you should do some sit ups.

Twenty sit ups, everyday for a sold month.
See how much you lose.
Garuntee you it'll work.
Trust me,
I'ma weight trainer,
I know how the body works.

I'm pretty sure you can't spot-lose fat period.

However, if you increase muscle volume in the hips and thighs by working gluts, quads, hamstrings, etc, you might be able to preserve the curvy appearance. Basically, you are replacing fat volume with muscle. Its a long shot, but the only thing I can think of to give the impression of spot-loss.
