Is imitation seafood a good choice when trying to lose weight?!

Question: I have been adding it to salads to provide protein content.

Answers: I have been adding it to salads to provide protein content.

Do you mean like Surimi?

I eat alot of that and its low cal/low fat and filling plus a good protein fix.

It has a lot of salt though so probably best not to have too much (I eat loads of it, eek!)

Good luck on the diet!

***Surimi is the Japanese name for processed fish like Hake or Pollock that is made to imitate crab - ie crab sticks etc - so we are talking about the same thing!***

Just stick with the real thing. Thought of protein powder?

Much of the artificial seafood is Pollock , a fish , so it is seafood. what a sham on the people

Generally fish isn't sopposed to be bad , it's the way it is prepared that is the problem

This site is highly recommended - the free E-book they offer is a great kickstart when you're trying to lose weight.
