When will my hard work pay off?!


Question: I'm 15. 140 pounds. 5'6.

I started to go the gym with my sister the starting of last month.

We go 3-4 times a week. I do an an hour of cardio and some light lifting.

I walk home Monday-Friday from school (30 minute walk going up a big hill)

I always drink water, and i eat special K in the morning and fruits and veggies threw out the day. I cut ALL the sugars out of my life, and i never drink pop anyways..

On Thursdays, we go to a Palities(sp) and yoga class that my gym has. It's a one hour class and i love it!


When will i finnaly notice a difference, a wanna be toned and tight. Will i be this before summer?

You have a good start going there!! Keep it up!

Yes, it takes a while to see results!! By june you should see some differences, but for sure you will feel them and it feels so good!

I am thinking you don't have any protein or fats in your food plan!! Meats? Cheeses? Eggs? Nuts?

Saturated fats do not make one fat!!! they are necessary for nice skin and hair, and proper brain function!! Lack of them only makes the cosmetics companies richer by selling you tons of creams and lotions to try to rehydrate the skin and hair. And they do nothing for you other than immediate relief from dry skin. I like whole milk and butter on my one piece of toast per day.

it takes years to get tone and fit

Keep up the great work and you will start to see results very soon! Give your body at least 6 weeks to get used to the new routine and you will be ready for summer in no time.

looks like your doing good you should see a difference in a couple months. make sure you eat 5-6 small meal a day also to keep your metabolism up an running hi.good luck

hm.. well it depents on what you are willing to do first lose fat or gain muscles or both at the same time?
i supose both at the same time..
but hm.. 3-4 times 1000 calories
