If I walk a treadmill for 30 minutes 5 days a week is that enough to lose 30 pou!

Question: I also want to say other than the 30 minute walk I dont do anything else really but sit around, so is this enough if I keep it up?

It's enough to keep you from gaining more weight, but if you've been steadily increasing your weight you'll just stay stable. If you have been stable weight wise, you'll loose some. You're not going to loose weight really fast either way, but you'll have more energy and your body will get in better shape. I exercise 1 hour per day for 4-5 days per week and last year just maintained my weight. This year, I'm down a few (very few) pounds and seem to be going down. Last year, I just walked 2.5 miles per day (45 min on the treadmill). This year I've added 15 minutes on the eliptical. That's my story, I hope it helps and congratulations on getting fit. Exercise lowers your cancer risk too.

yes keep it up.

That might take a long time >.>
And let alone you need to eat healthy
RUN D:<

that would depend on how fast you walk. your current weight. your diet. and when you want to lose that weight by.

but yes, it will be possible. it's just a matter of time. and hopefully you dont consume more calories than you burn, otherwise you will just be putting on weight.

perhaps if you gave a bit more information, others will be able to give better answers...?

Compared to not doing nothing, then that's pretty good.

I would try and do the treadmill on an incline, or work your way up to jogging.

Also eating is VERY important!

it may take a while to lose those pounds but sure. You could always increase the steepness on the treadmill to burn more calories. As you've probably read everywhere, you' have to excersise AND eat right to see results.

skip treadmill. skip cardio. only lift weights. lift weights make you strong and muscular. when muscular you lose fat. treadmill only cause heavy appetite. u go nowhere on treadmill. no waste time on it please!
