it will probably take anywhere from 6-8 weekd. but trust me, the time WILL go by fast, and it WILL be worth it! just take it week by week. and if your starting today, by the middle of April you should have reached your goal! DONT GIVE UP!

It depends on your body. Don't rush it.
Work out because it's healthy, not because you want to lose a lot of weight.

To do it safely and keep it off, try for 2 pounds per week. So it will take about 6-7 weeks. Make sure you are more active and aren't just crash exercising, otherwise, you can't sustain it permanently. Think of food as fuel and walk as much as you can.

A month in a half. Break up with your boyfriend!!!! It melted off. I'.m 5'8 and was 139, Feb. 5 and now I am 128. March 2.
I look skinny. Age 42.

1 pound of fat = 3500 calories
15 pounds of fat = 52500 calories

To burn off the fat you need to exercise and have a healthy diet. If you need 1600 calories to function properly (it's my guess based on your weight), then eat 300 calories extra and your exercise will burn 600 calories. That equals net negative of -300 calories for one day.

52500 calories at -300 a day = 175 days to burn off or 6 months. This is quite inaccurate as you will not go to the gym everyday but you can put the figure up or down by 50 days depending on how much exercise you do and what type of food you eat.

If you do it this way, you will keep the weight off as well, because your body is not starving itself- and you can cope with a loss of -300 calories a day. :)
