What time of day should one take a daily vitamin?!

Question: I usually take my daily vitamin in the morning. I have had several people tell that taking vitamins in the afternoon/evening is more beneficial towards the body's absorption. Any insight from those in the health/nutrition field would be much appreciated!

In the Am after your breakfast. With plenty of water

The morning, but make sure you take it with your food or right after breakfast.

whenever you will best remember to take it...that's why bkfst is suggested....

Right before bed so it can help you stay nurished through the night. Or if any instructions came with the Vitamin follow them or asked a Doctor/Pediatrist

Surely in the morning before you tackle your day! Take after your breakfast because vitamins on an empty stomach may make you feel uncomfortable with a bit of an upset stomach feeling. I've never been one to agree on taking vitamins in the late afternoon or evening because it lays in your stomach through the night when you are sleeping. Sleep alone is nurishment. Sleep itself is almost like "vitamins" for your body where your body doesn't have to work to digest. It gets to sleep with the rest of your body which is what is meant to happen. This is why it is said not to eat after 6pm (approx) in the evening so your system will digest before heading to bed. That isn't the time to have vitamins seeping into your system. Take them in the early or later morning after a meal that pads your stomach first.
