You don't need to depart from the 'safe' territory of apples, salads, crackers and tea.

There are many different types of apple, and if you try to eat as many different varieties as possible during the week, you will soon feel confident enough to include other hard fruits (such as pears). Changing your approach gradually like this can be surprisingly effective.

There are also many different types of cracker, and by trying out new ones you can work your way round to including things like rice cakes, pumpernickel, and eventually sodabread and sourdough.

Try to include a wider range of veg in your salads, too. If you add one new ingredient every week (and try to eat a SLIGHTLY larger quantity of all the ingredients), you will soon find that your range of nutrition is much more healthy.

You needn't aim for a 'normal' diet; there are plenty of healthy vegan or vegetarian diets that will provide for your nutritional needs and allow your body to function healthily. Getting there gradually is a very good plan, because it will allow your digestion and metabolism to adapt to the changes.

A more difficult step will come when you add fatty foods such as avocados and nuts to your diet, but these shouldn't be as scary as you probably find them; they are perfectly healthy 'salad' ingredients.

Tackling your exercise addiction in the same way, is also important. If you try to increase the intensity of your exercise activities, you will be able to 're-focus' your body image. Eating more food will provide the FUEL for powerful exercises that build up your strength and muscle mass. You need to do more of these (heavier resistance) exercises, and spend less time 'working off' dietary calories with lighter, long-duration endurance activities.

Learning a martial art might help a lot. You will need to develop muscular power, and focus your attention on your ability to focus and deliver it. Your breathing and posture will improve, and these changes will cause subtle improvements to your confidence and self-image.

OKAI WELL I THINK THE WAI U CAN START EATING IS TO JUST THINK ABOUT HOW SKINNI U R AND THEN IN THE MORING EAT SOME BREAD IT WILL HELP AND THEN U WILL START TO EAT FRIES AND STUFF........

You should really go and see your doctor about this or arange to see a dietician.

It is some concern that your periods have stopped. You should know that you can do some extreme damage to your body by being very underweight.

Seriously...Doctor! (Good for you for wanting to do something about this).

Go slow at first, don't want to shock your system or get sick from overdoing it.
Try peanut butter on apple slices in the morning.
Try adding an avocado to the salad, and a creamy dressing.
Try having a dish of ice cream in the evenings.
Have some tuna with mayonnaise in your salad. Gradually add small amounts of foods until you reach about 1600 calories a day and see how you're doing. Try adding 100 calories of peanut butter tomorrow, then 150 calories the next day, do it very gradually. Going to the gym is fine, but keep it to 30 mins a day and no more.
Good luck, overcoming an eating disorder is rough, but at least you want to, and that's a great start.

Saia, Sometimes there are times when you need to ask for help, and this is one of those times, make a appointment to see your doctor and talk to him, he will arrange for you to see a Dietitian, who will give you all the help you want, They are very sympathetic and understand eating disorders, we can tell you things to eat, but its really in your best interest to seek professional help. Good Luck
