I gained 10lbs and I want to go back to my normal weight?!


Question: I'm 18 years old; 5'6 and my normal weight is 124lbs. I weigh 134 now and none of my clothes look good on me anymore. Plus when I go shopping I can see the bulge of my stomach sticking out.

This is what I'm planning to do to lose the weight:

Breakfast:
Oatmeal and tea

Lunch:
Protein bar

Dinner:
Small portion of what my mom prepared and like a yogurt

I'm planning on working out 30-45 minutes a day.

Is this bad and if I keep this up, how long will it take me to lose 10lbs?

I think that would work nicely. Try a low fat yogurt though, and make sure to eat a healthy Protein bar, because so many have sugar in them. A store called Mrs Greens has some good ones. A good brand is Kashi I think.

Anyway, just try and have something healthy from whatever your mom makes, like if its chicken, eat only a small breast, no skin, and a larger serving of the vegtables (watch the butter though, a brand called Promise is good, 5 cal for 1 tbs vs. the normal 80 in regular butter)
You could also eat a plain salad inbetween meals to get your metabolism up and going. Load it with raw veg too, because 1- its full of healthy nutrients and 2- the raw veg bring up the metabolism and give fiber.

Good luck! I'm not sure how long it would take, but maybe a little less than a month, honestly it depends on your body and such. I'll give you my e-mail incase you want any meal ideas ect.

Ok first off Id like to say Darling. You worried because you weigh 134 pounds!? Thats not alot at all... your not overweight. I will also add that I would love to be 134 pounds... but Im not. Im more like 160. There aint nothing wrong with a lil curves!

Anyway if you want to get back to your other weight your diet sounds good. The special K protein bars, and flavored water are really great. When you go shopping look at everything you buy. The carbs, the sugar, and the fat content..... Good luck Darling!
