What the heck happened??!

Question: I've recently changed my lifestyle and have been losing weight for 2 months now. My hubby and I go out drinking usually once a week but the drinking never affected my weight loss. Well, Sunday morning I weighed myself after a night of drinking and I had gained 4 lbs since Friday!!!! How is that even possible?? I thought maybe I was retaining water and the weight would go back down this morning but it had only gone down by 1 lb.

Is it possible that ONE night of drinking could have packed 4 lbs on me??? I'm so confused, this never happened before.

I have lost 78 pounds on weight watchers and drank so much beer throughout the process it isn't even funny. I never counted beer as any points either. It is probably something to do with water, being a woman, etc. My advice is stop weighing so much. Don't do it anymore often than once a week, maybe even every week and a half. Just keep going, you will see results!

idk it could be from stress, like work, school, money, family friends, something may be bugging u and you dont know it yet. but it has effected you

possibly, alcohol has loads of calories in it ..... especially white wine!

no...alcohol dehydrates you so chances are your body is still holding onto the excess fluid
drink lots of water to hydrate your system..in a couple of days you should be back to normal again

Alcohol has loads of hidden sugars so you need to look on it as liquid sweets. If you drink too much and sleep on it you don't use up the calories as energy so you will weigh heavier.
Drink loads of water to rehydrate your system and you will pee out any excesses left in your body.
