I would work out no less than 3 or 4 days a week. Daily would be best. I like devoting 3 days to cardio and 3 days to weights. I trade between the two every other day. I go to the gym for 1 hour. I warm up for 5 minutes, then do 45 to 50 minutes of stairs, spin classes, running, walking on incline, or a mixture of machines, doing 20 or so minutes on each. I then will cool down for 5 minutes and stretch really well. For weights, I take classes at my gym or will use the machines a free weights. I enjoy the classes because they teach correct form. I advice lifting heavy enough to provide a good workout. 3 lb weights just won't cut it, in my opinion. So lift at least 8 to 15 lbs (lighter weights when working shoulders, heavier when doing back, biceps, triceps, squats, lunges, etc. I hardly use weights when working my stomach. If you do this, within a month you should see results and drastic results within 3...also, remember to cut out refined sugar and refined foods found in boxes and cans and stick to the whole foods as much as possible. Drink mostly water, occasionally juice...no soda. Try not to eat late, unless it's after a workout. If you do this...it's not a matter of "if" but "when" you'll see the results you desire!

not more than 3 i guess

It really depends on your goals. But as a general rule, I'd shoot for an hour total.

Make sure you eat enough though and get at least .5 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight each day. This will give you that great muscle tone.

Hope this helps,

An hour of cardio, 3 days a week. Strength training 2x a week, but that's not timed, it takes however long it takes to complete the circuit.

i work out everyday of the week just harder on certain days it depends what your doing and how out of shape you are if you overdue it at first your probably just gonna injure yourself and become more out of shape as you wont be able to at all till u heal

I don't like to be in the gym very long, so I like a high intensity workout that is fast. I'd try and keep going to the gym 3 times a week to start, while you are getting your cardio up.

Weights can be done, as a light full-body circuit, or you can take turns doing upper body/lower body combinations. For example Monday-back/quads Wednesday-arms/hamstrings Friday-chest/calves

For Cardio, if you need low impact, start on the bike/elyptical for 30 minutes. If you want to jog, then go on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Bump up the time, and speed as you can. If you want to burn fat however, longer/slower workouts are best, say walking 30 minutes 3 times a week.

GOOD LUCK!! :)
