As im trying to lose weight should i drink an energy drink while working out?!

Question: Most professionals believe that energy drinks are a big mistake. I would recommend staying as far away as possible from them.

Caffeine does decrease appetite, but the amount of sugars and other other energy inducers in most energy drinks are not good for you.

In all my years of working out at gyms, I've never seen anyone drinking an energy drink.

Nope. Water. No point in replacing the calories you're burning off with the ones you are drinking. If you do need an energy boost for working out longer and harder then it should be before you work out, not during it.

No, no, no, and no! Energy drinks are a terrible thing to drink while trying to lose weight. They are full of calories and sugar and you should never drink them!! :)

It takes time before the energy you drink from the "energy drink" releases.
Althought you are trying to lose weight you should watch your calories. And if you look at the backside of your "energy drink" you can see it contains alot of calories for just a small drink.
So I recommend you to stop drinking that, it's very bad!

read the carb content, no

Water with a slice of lemon in it.

If you want to add an extra 30minutes (or longer) on to your workout to burn off all the sugars and carbs in the energy drink then yes. Not something I'd recommend though.

I've found that taking a plastic bottle and putting loads of ice in there then filling with water and sipping that through my workout is far more refreshing and because its so cold it quenches my thirst quicker (I can also press it to my pulse points when I'm getting too hot!).

On days when I'm feeling a little sluggish I have 3 gulps of strong black coffee before I head off to the gym.

These two things work for me and boost my effectiveness at the gym, they may not work for everyone - it's just a matter of finding what's right for you but I've tried the energy drink thing a while back and actually gained weight.
