Please help me with these calories, im at a lose?!


Question: Im very confused to how many carlies i would burn! Im 19 weigh 168pounds and 5'2, my excerces are: Jogging 15-20 mins a day, 30 mins cardio, 45 mins brisk walking... .

so how many calories would this burn and how much should be my calorie intake?

You should buy yourself one of those pocket calorie counters, they dont just tell you how many calouries are in certain foods, they also tell you which exercises burn the most calories, you even lose them, watching tv and sleeping, but its all in this little book, grab one, they are about $8 and you'd be surprised at what has the most calories and which exercises burn the most, its awesome and quite cheap and will give you a good idea of whats going on, hope this helps, Goodluck!!!

Hard to say really because it depends on how much you exert yourself and your weight for example.

the Jogging would probably be about 100 calories, the cardo about 250 i guess, and the walking about 50 calories.

You really don't have to do that much and doing to much can actually hurt your progress. I say just stick to the 30 minutes of cardio.

Also are you dieting? Dieting is key if you want to lose weight. Exercise alone is not effective.

I don't know how many calories you are burning but your exercizes sound good. Your calorie intake for a day to lose weight should be only 1200 a day so watch your diet. My Dr. told me to lose weight cut out all the starches. Potatoes,bread,pasta,rice and dairy products. Eat several small meals aday, alot of veggies, fish and chicken. Stay away from beef as much as possible as that takes the longest to digest. Don't miss meals as your body will try to store fat not shed it. Drink lots of water and stay away from as much sugar as possible.Take multivitamins too
