Trading in bulimia for exercising?!

Question: Hey. so i'm in the process of battling bulimia, and for the first time in two years I acctually think i'm making progress, but i have become addicted to exeercising. Now i know this might seem like a silly question but can being obsessive over exercising be a bad thing? running is working really well for me right now becuase whenever i want to turn to my old bad habbits, i just go out for a run and take all my frustrations out by running as long, hard, and as fast as i can. Just wanted to know if this is okay, and if i'm taking a step in the right direction, or maybe one back! Thanks in advance :)

That's so great if you want some support let me know I am too trying to battle bulimia and it's hard.
This is a big step for you to take and just be glad that you are young and making this chose and not older. Over exercising it a type of bulimia too so watch out.
Email me.

thats great! just dont overkill on exercise and you will be ok. exercise it a great replacement for your old habbits as long as you dont push yourself too hard.

good luck on your recovery

You're doing great. Just don't take exercising to an extreme level. You're probably not even over-weight.

Of course you should never over do anything but it seems like this is your own method of therapy. You can exercise too much, it is possible to become addicted to it and make it an unhealthy practice but if you know when to stop yourself and iot keeps you from throwing up, I say go for it.

then again I also think you should definitely talk to a doctor or someone who really knows these kind of things.=D

Nope it's not a very good idea to exercise too much. But if you do exercise alot, you need to up your intake of daily calories.
