How many calories have I burnt?!


Question: how many calories have i just burnt

I ran for 1 hour and 10 minutes(70 minutes) really fast on a treadmill with a sweat suit and a big jacket on which made me sweat much more!!!!!!!!!!! i also lifted heavy weights 15 times?
I do this exercise everyday of the week :-)

so how many calories do you think i burnt??

Kendra, at your height, weight and age (5' 6" 125 lbs) running on a treadmill for 90 minutes at 5 MPH (zero incline) would burn around 556 calories.

Sweating doesn't cause you to burn additional calories -- it only causes you to lose some temporary water weight. That water weight will return as soon as you rehydrate, so it's illusory.

The weight training will be negligible in terms of calories burned-- 15 reps isn't very much (sorry.) I would add another 30 calories burned for the resistance training.

Total calories burned between the two exercises is around 586.

Based on your pictures, it looks like this training approach is working fine for you, so I wouldn't mess with it too much.

BTW, why have you trademarked your Answers name? And have you filed an official mark with the U.S. Office of Patents and Trademarks? Just curious ...
