Does loosing weight through hypnosis really work?!


Question: Ive hit this question before. Hypnosis does work...does it work for everybody....no. You should really only go down the hypnosis road if you exhausted every other option. Is really for people who use food for confort and are unable to stop eating even when they're not hungry. More of a subconcious therepy session than anything.

Not so much. Hypnosis's effects are pretty limited from what I understand. It basically can slightly alter how you perceive things. If you think weight loss in an insurmountable goal, you can go hypnotherapy to view yourself as confident. Then, suddenly, weight loss looks like something you can achieve because you're more confident in yourself. Don't take that to mean that you will go from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde, because the effects aren't that radical. It's a very subtle change that doesn't work for everyone.

Is it worth the money they want? Probably not, but if you think it will help, talk to your regular doctor first. He may be able to offer more effective psyche alternatives for less money.

DONT DO IT. its messing with you sub consious mind! seriously how do you know that these people are not also hypnotiseing you to keep comeing back untill you spend all your money on it and you have nothing left? i mean think about this: if they can hypnotise you to lose weight cant they also make you do crazy things for them- like make you kill people for them, give them money, sexual favors?
it is crazy stuff that you dont need to mess with unless someone you realy realy trust is the person doing it for you. And please dont buy those online recordings and tapes they can harm you to. Im just saying dont just trust anyone out there. you need to say safe. And if you want to lose weight id recomend weight watchers or LA weight loss and exersize 4 times a week.
