Is there a weight limit to using a dancing pole?!

Question: http://www.exoticdancepoles.com/servlet/...

I'm not sure if heavier people would be able to use this, what do you think? This is an honest question by the way so smart-asses can move right along.

It depends on whether it is secured to a beam or just anchored in the ceiling material.
If it is anchored to a support beam, like 250-300 lbs.
The ceiling, little tiny anorexic people.

Depending on how old and constructed the pole is. If you're overweight then most likely you aren't recommended to use a dancing pole. Otherwise dance away!

yes heavy people can, due to its stability in the floor and ceiling, however it still takes a massive amount of muscle, so the more someone weighs the more they need to be able to well... "lift."

i think if you arent too heavy to lift yourself up to use the pole, it should be fine.

i don't think so, why would there be?

If you have to ask...

i have no idea...depends on how strong the pole is, who the hell knows.

If Its actually bolted into the floor AND ceiling, probably 200 pounds or so. I've seen some where its only a 7 foot pole with a heavy base, and nothing on top, can't do much with those.

It should, but make sure that you set it up really sturdily so that it won't tip. (this is the same thing I've wondered everytime I see one too!)
