Answers: I eat same as other days and I got flu.

It can cause weight loss but you will gain it back when you are better.

i had a bug and then the flu str8 after and didnt eat anything because i couldnt, but it made me lose half a stone.
hope u get better soon x

Getting sick doesn't make me lose weight, my appetite stays the same. Most people can't eat when they're sick or throw up everything they eat when they're sick and that's why they lose weight. Every body reacts to the flu differently.

It could make you lose weight because being sick can sometimes supress your appitite which means you are really sick. But if you do have an appitite its always good to eat and it shows that you are getting healthier. If you are sick you shouldn't lose more than 2 to 5 pounds. If you have lost an increidible amount of weight you need to consult your doctor. Good luck.

It can because you get dehydrated and if you have the stomach flu (which i realize isn't really the flu) vomiting equals weight loss as well

If it makes you sweat/be sick or eat less.
xx

It can if it disrupts your appetite. Fighting an infection is also "expensive" for the body and requires a lot of energy, part of the reason you feel like you don't have any when you're sick. I lose weight when I'm sick every time, no matter what I have, but as soon as I'm better it comes back sometimes with help! So if you do lose weight while you're sick, likely it'll come right back when you're better.

It's not the way to lose weight, for sure! Best thing to do is eat foods that are comforting to you and get lots of rest (unless of course you mean stomach flu then eating might not be the best thing). Feel better!
