Can babies who do not yet have any teeth still eat a normal diet?!

Question: Before teeth come in babies can begin eating pureed vegetables, such as carrots, peas, green beans, and sweet potato, along with rice cereal. You can puree the foods yourself, of begin with the grocery store variety at a Stage 1 level, meaning the finest puree (almost liquid). As babies learn to consume the foods (over the course of many weeks), you may increase the texture of the foods. Teeth are not a necessity for these items, but it is easier to munch on Cheerios with teeth than without.

I don't think they would get appropriate nutrition, and still need to be on the bottle. But I suppose it is hypothetically possible if you chewed the food item first and then gave it to them.
Grody!

No. Their stomach isn't developed enough yet to digest most foods. Stick to breast milk. When they get to be one year old, you can give them pretty much anything, least something they can choke on.
You can try cooked and mashed vegetables after 3 months or so. And maybe apples, too, pureed.
