The BMI is completely bogus. It doesn't take into consideration body fat percentage, or anything that would actually contribute to how much is a healthy weight. I'm 5'11" and I think for my BMI to be in the "regular weight" range it says I should weigh 170lbs. I know my body very well, and I know that I am most physically fit, and look best at around 185-190.

And there's really no such thing as a 'regular' weight for someone. A lot of it would depend on where your weight is... some women have big hips, and they like that... You should practice general good nutrition and exercise so that you are healthy and you feel good about your body, not to meet a standard on a scale.

Well being on the far end of the spectrum is grounds for weight loss, so being 1 number over is really not that different from being 3-4 from the top. You need to be around 145-155lbs at your height. So a 15-20 lb. weight loss would do wonders for your health. Start small though. Aim for 5 and then 10 lbs. As you start looking and feeling better, you Will stay motivated and hit your goals

The problem I have with BMI, is that I don't think it's very accurate. In consideration of your age, normal weight is anything between 120 to 160 pounds. This is for both men and women adults. More realistically speaking, I would suspect if you're a female, normal would be closer to 120-140, while a male would be 140-160.
