People who know about cardio..?!


Question: I recently began doing the Turbo Jam workouts. Since I am a smoker, it's hard to keep up for the full 45 minutes of the Cardio Party Mix DVD, so I decided to break up the routine. Is the cardio workout still effective if I do 20 minutes in the morning and the other 25 minutes later in the day for now? Will I still see results?

You need to do 20 to 30 minutes minimum time for carido work outs keeping you pulse and heart rate up to the target for your age group to do you any good. Looks like you are in the ball park with 20 and 25 munutes at a time. That answer your question.

Being a smoker you definitely need carido fitness because of not having the fudge factor non smokers have.

By the way did doesn't make any difference whether you are a smoker or not when you first start out you are going to be out of shape and able to do a full routine. You have to start low and work up. Being a smoker it is going to take you a lot longer though.

Yeah I know you have heard this before but you need to quit smoking.
